Domaine d'Arton

It took audacity to restore the vines in Haut-Armagnac, to reinvent this forgotten terroir and establish its own identity. It required a visionary mind to defend the Armagnac vintages in their youth, to create the Blanche Armagnac category and to commit to sustainable viticulture. Dedicated to his land, faithful to his ideal, Patrick de Montal was rewarded in 2017 when Château Arton received the Prix d'Excellence at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris across all brandies catégories. All the more invaluable as it was awarded for the first time in history to an Armagnac.
