Description
Mainly 80-year-old Carignan (15 hl/ha) on north-facing schist slopes, with some Mourvèdre and Grenache. No oak. A lively and elegant wine, astonishingly fresh and voluptuous, wrapped in silk. Very savoury nose with wild, intense, juicy red fruit notes of “roast venison”. The very nicely coated and lifted tannins give Belle Lurette its personality.
