17.5pts …‘The tension in this spicy wine is palpable and yet cannot contain the luminous richness. Grilled pineapple and quinine, nutmeg and salt, quince and lemon marmalade and the spicy herb note of helichrysum. It changes, from moment to moment, like light across a landscape. It seems to fling wide as it moves from beginning to end, rippling out, but then as if it comes with a drawstring, it pulls back in, tight and textured and even spicier on the finish, filling the throat with gingery warmth.
