Blanquette de Limoux Brut Caractère 2020

This “blanquette“ has a “robe“ reminiscent of a yellow butterfly. There is a constant stream of numerous, fine, white bubbles. The intensity of the flavour develops with the release of the bubbles and gives notes of floral essence; hawthorn and acacia. A gentle hint of minerals adds to the complexity! After the initial agreeable assault on the mouth, we discover a harmonious mixture of lemon and pink grapefruit with a finale of hazelnut. This is a beautifully balanced wine. A perfect accompaniment to monkfish in lemon sauce, or for an aperitif with food.
