Description
The grapes were hand-picked in October 2013 in only two selected vineyards of our estate. Before the fermentation, we proceeded to a cold maceration at 8ºC for one week. Then, the malolactic fermentation took place with fine lees in 225L French oak barrels. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 60 months in bottle. Deep dark garnet-red color with a high intensity. Complex nose expressing some elegant aromas of wild black and red fruits, along with some subtle notes of truffle, spices, cedar and tobacco leaf. Elegant, silky, balanced, round and persistent.
