Terre Ferme 2019

Plot selection. Partial de-stemming (10 to 15% of whole bunches). Reassembly and light punching of the cap. Aged in tuns for 12 months, then 6 months in concrete vats. A terroir wine, this wine comes from old vines planted on the edge of a locality of the same name. Its limestone minerality gives the wine aromatic depth and saline tension on the palate as well as powdery tannins. The clay generates power and preserves useful water reserves during the long dry period. The result is a wine of great nobility, darker, rooty, liquorice-like, with a straight and long finish.
