Rouge Sélection 2019

Château Lastours created this Cuvée Sélection which is the fruit of a thoughtful selection of our best old vine plots, highlighted by a 12-months ageing in french oak barrels.

Each year, the profile of this wine will evolve towards a richer mouthfeel, and fruity aromas will express themselves accompanied with discreet notes of vanilla. Tanins are melted and slightly smoked.

Harvest happens by night, and vatting is traditional (21 days maceration). To be tasted at room temperature, this wine will be the perfect companion for game, nice pieces of meat and cheeses with character.
